What was your favorite food?
I am a total foodie so this is a hard question…My favorite food has to be my mother’s Mexican food and then of course anything that Justin and I cook together in the kitchen.

What’s your favorite indoor/outdoor activity?
I’ve been an athlete all my life so I am game for any indoor/outdoor activity so I have no favorite
What chore do you absolutely hate doing?
Laundry in Europe because the washer is extremely small and there is no dryer (you have to hang dry your clothes on a heater and it takes about two days for your clothes to dry)
What is your favorite form of exercise?
My favorite form of exercise is doing anything active that helps me forget that I am actually working out.
What is your favorite time of day/day of the week/month of the year?
Definitely NOT the morning – I hate mornings I usually need a cup of coffee or tea before anyone talks to me. I prefer the middle of the day. At the end of the day I am usually wired and have a hard time accepting bedtime. Favorite time of the year is Christmas (Duh) it is so family oriented and romantic.

What’s your favorite mode of transportation?
A Harley Davidson! RV! And I have become a huge fan of the underground train system Europe offers (why the hell don’t we have this in Los Angeles?!)

The sound of Country music when I am cooking in the kitchen.
If you could throw any kind of party, what would it be like and what would it be for?
I would throw a party for kids with special needs, cancer, and disabilities. All of these things are near and dear to my heart and I believe it is important to give back. It would be one hell of a party so hope you get an invite!
And a Television Series Party – People can dress up like their favorite characters from their favorite shows! We love the Griffins!
If you could paint a picture of any scenery you’ve seen before, what would you paint?
Probably the mountain from our kitchen window in Italy – it will forever be scarred in my head and whenever I pick up a chocolate with the picture of this mountain on it, I smile.
If you could choose to stay a certain age forever, what age would it be?
23! I honestly have a hard time accepting that I am 25. I get hell for it all the time…
If you knew the world was ending in 2013, what would you do differently?
Nothing. I believe everything happens for a reason and that’s how we learn.

I would never change the fact that my family has been the best mentors of my life.
If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be?
The cure of cancer. Cancer has such a large impact on people and many families, including my own. Always remain positive but I cannot wait for a solution.

If you had to work on only one project for the next year, what would it be?
An organization I am working on with Justin to help provide hockey equipment to kids less fortunate.
If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do?
To be honest, I would take our family on vacation and donate money to some of our favorite charities.

What do you want to be when you grow up?
Well I am grown and I have a great job back home but am currently on a leave of absence and am playing the role of a hockey wife (not the typical “trophy wife”– I work with charities, finished school with 3 degrees, and am working on some projects in the meantime)
When you have 30 minutes of free-time, how do you pass the time?
I usually sing off the top of my lungs with Justin ha or have dance competitions throughout our house

Geez I have no idea what I would name it but I know it would be a damn good interesting book! Ha

I never wanted to date a professional athlete but turns out I am marrying one this summer. He has changed my perspective and completely shown me the meaning of unconditional love (he is my better half)! He is my Prince
What was one of the best parties you’ve ever been to?
My eighteen year old jungle party was a memorable one for those who attended you know what I am talking about AND any family party we have tends to be one for the books
What was the last movie, TV show or book that made you cry or tear up?
“The Crash Reel” – HOLY it is one of the best documentaries I have seen and I cried my eyes out BADLY! It made me want to make a change and really give back. It also made me think of how close my family is and that is extremely important.
What was the last experience that made you a stronger person?
Dealing with my father’s cancer. I believe this has made my entire family stronger
What did you do growing up that got you into trouble?
Never answer my cell phone when my parents called and missing my curfew. I believed I knew all the answers and that is simply just an immature move then you grow out of and realize your parents care and love you
When was the last time you had an amazing meal?
Vapiano’s Italian food the other night with Justin – yummmmm best pasta!

Probably a Michael Kors handbag or something – Ive been making my own money for years so it is hard to think way back.

The World Juniors Hockey game the other day when USA was playing Canada (I was torn between two but both places are considered home to me)

What are your values and are you being true to them?
I can bore you with a list of values and being true to all of them but at the end of the day family is what matters the most.
In what ways are you being perceived, that you’re not aware of?
Some may judge a book by a cover and think of me as a girly girl and possibly high maintenance but I am far from either of those. I have no fear of running in wedges, getting muddy, and getting crazy in watersports like wakeboarding… also I work people I do not live off of my husbands career. I enjoy being independent when it comes to making money and having a career of my own even though my honey does spoil me, I spoil him right back!
What do you know, that you don’t know?
I like to think I know all the answers but I am stubborn as hell and so is Justin – we learn as we go!
If you achieved all of your life’s goals how would you feel? How can you feel that along the way?
I have accomplished many goals in my life but I have many more that I want to achieve. I believe taking steps in the right direction will get you there.

I learned that I cannot wait for Housewives of Beverly Hills to come out next week haha and that I have a hard time deciding on what to cook for dinner.
If you weren’t scared what would you do?
Skydive maybe, I am just so afraid of heights oh and Scuba dive but I refuse to do it because I watch Lifetime movies and I know the risks.

Kids in the household, steady careers, and to not cringe when I tell people I am 30

– The first person to kiss me on New Years this year was Bob Nicholson (President of Hockey Canada and one of the most powerful people in hockey) (it was on the cheek people don’t call me a cheater – I am Justin’s lady for life)
– I hate chipped nail polish (that’s brutal and the sound of chipping it grosses me out)

Describe 3 legitimate fears you have and explain how they became fears.
Snakes, the Ocean, and Ants crawling on me in my sleep. Snakes for obvious reasons. If you like snakes I might think twice before hanging out with you. The ocean is just too big, too powerful, and Lord only knows what lies beneath. Ants have to be one of the most annoying pests ever and to think some people have woken up to them crawling all over sends chills down my spine – YUCK!
Describe your relationship with your parents.
Extremely close, they are an inspiration to Justin and my relationship. I love them with all my heart and my brother!

My dream job is stable, has insurance, pays into retirement, and has lots of paperwork (I have my dream job). I say this because it is important to have a job that you enjoy, takes care of you in case of an emergency, and helps you build a savings for retirement because we do not want to work forever. We want to be able to support ourselves and our future babies.

Describe an embarrassing moment
To pick one is tough – I am pretty sure I had a recent one in Orebro with one of my girlfriends (as well as her husband and mine) going to a football match and using our skills to get into a private lounge and enjoy many toasts of rum to our friendship. Long story short we were locked in a room unable to reach our husbands and will never drink rum again!
Describe a typical day in your current life.
A day in my current life in SWEDEN… I wake up, make some breakfast (Majority of the time Justin is the breakfast maker but I can whip up a damn good breaky),He goes to practice and I work on some projects, put together a recipe for dinner, do a workout, and then go to the market with Justin, come home, eat lunch (in the dark because Sweden has no Sun), relax, cook dinner, have a dance off while cooking, watch a show during a candle lit dinner (Im obsessed with Candles) and then clean up and go to bed around 1ish 2am because I never sleep… Pretty different from our life back home or Game Day.
